The people at Villa Framing are the core of the business. Lenny has the experience gained by developing his ideas over thirty years. His early recognition that classic ‘lost art’ methods were due for a revival, and his belief that having a strong creative team is of paramount importance, bring the company to what it is today – a world renowned leader in its field. Lenny’s inventions have allowed the company to attract work from major contemporary artists who are looking at new ways to frame their work.

Having designed the frame it is assembled from elements and then goes through the long process through the workshop. The preparation, largely hand work then progresses through the specialist paint department and on to gilding if required.

Rian Kunduth the conservator and gilder has been with the company for 25 years. She not only gilds but also is a consummate picture and frame restorer.
